EDWS Architects secured full planning and listed building permission for the conversion of a Grade II listed city centre office building back to its original single residential use.

Key to securing permission was to carefully replicate and restore all period correct details and overall plan proportions whilst also ensuring it was able to function as a modern private dwelling, with en-suite, utility room / open plan kitchen and dining facilities.

Key to securing all necessary permissions was preparation of a comprehensive accompanying detailed heritage statement and 1:50 detail internal room elevations, with a full scheme proposals and impact statement.
